Rolex Submariner 16610LV Kermit vs. 116600 Seadweller Comparison - who wins?

Today I do a quick comparison video between the SeaDweller 4000 and the Rolex Submariner 50th Anniversary edition. The old school classic looks or the new school formulation and durability?

Which would you choose?

Originally available in 2004 the Rolex 16610LV introduced the green bezel which can be swapped out with other bezels from that time. The original msrp was around $5k and current resale is around $6-7k. The green and black is a nice contrast and looks good on the wrist. It's a beautiful watch that wears well and flat on the wrist. The newer Rolex's are heavier and you feel the weight more when you are wearing it when compared to the older versions. One thing is for sure, no matter which one you get, you will love it. You can never really go wrong with a Rolex.

One thing I forget to mention is that you can use the bracelet on older models which levels the playing field. In my next watch video, I intend to take a closer look at the 16610LV a little closer.
