Reflection – 3rd Sunday of Advent (Year A)
This Sunday, Isaiah reminds us that God brings life to the barren and hopes to the weary. James calls us to patient trust, like farmers waiting for the harvest. In the Gospel, Jesus shows that His works: healing, comforting, and freeing reveal the kingdom of God. St. Francis de Sales, in Introduction to the Devout Life, teaches that we make God’s presence real through small, faithful acts of love each day. Let us rejoice and prepare our hearts for the Lord’s coming.
