[PS2] Gekibo 2 (Gekisha Boy 2) - Playthrough

Описание к видео [PS2] Gekibo 2 (Gekisha Boy 2) - Playthrough

Gekibo 2, sometimes also referred to as Gekisha Boy 2 and The Cameraman 2, is an obscure Playstation 2 sequel to the equally obscure Gekibo for the PC-Engine. At some point, it was planned for release in Europe as Polaroid Pete, but never materialized due to the publisher's disappearance.

Gekibo 2 is a whimsical and eccentric game which slaps the unconventional gameplay mechanics of taking pictures of things to earn a score on top of the standard sidescrolling framework which has you going from left to right. It features a bombastic presentation with an incredible attention to detail (and a tonne of uncopyrighted appearances from other companies' properties!!!) - there's nary a moment when there aren't a myriad of things happening on the screen at once. The goal of each stage, of which there are eleven, is to reach the score necessary for clearing the stage as well photograph the main event. Some of the stages are hidden and require fulfilling a special objective(usually taking a picture of something happening in the background) to be unlocked.

Despite the relatively short length, Gekibo 2 possesses plenty of staying power thanks to the arcade nature of the gameplay and the Photo Album feature. Discovering and photographing every single one of the events in all of the stages is an endeavor that might take up well over 20 hours of your time.
