I thought I would upload this because this shows some ridiculous stuff that is not ever gonna be done in real run.

—HOW THIS WAS POSSIBLE—

Using PC qte code to make the QTEs same speed as playing with keyboard. It is different from auto QTE code which actually makes them slightly faster than it should be.

All of the item boxes that are picked up have set items. Using Tweakbox you are able to change this pretty easily. Without it getting all the right items from rng would be impossible.

Also using Tweakbox I was able to remove the trigger that moves the pillars at the end of the stage. These pillars would normally move depending on the ai but also from rng sometimes they could all go down. Getting it 3/3 is nearly impossible and it saves an incredible amount of time getting 0 pillars.

—THE CRAZY THINGS—

Firstly being able to do that ramp skip at the start requires alot on rng. Because you want to get the super early level 2 so you can have the speed to make it and have the air after.

Going to the right of that pillar laying down before the 2nd ramp may not look too insane but it actually is… The hit box of it is a little interesting and along with the moving sand pushing u to the right. It’s basically pixel perfect to get past it and still be boosting. It’s so easy to either hit the pillar or still make it but the sand stops your boost.

The pause buffer off the colosseum is the hardest pause buffer in the game because it requires a frame perfect pause right when you hit the colosseum. You also need to unpause at a good time and nado so you don’t fall off. Then you gotta line up in a good spot and still have to make your way down to the temple at a spot to be able to respawn there. Also at level 3 it is possible to make it down there with a perfect timed JCBC. It isn’t possible at level 2 because you need to nado twice to stop so you don’t get nearly enough speed.

—OTHER STUFF—

I don’t believe that this TAS is 100% perfect because there might be a way to do the pause buffer skip faster. On lap 2 is a little trick because being level 3 your drift dash sends you a tiny bit farther than at level 2. So it is more difficult to line up then and can be very easy to fall off if you drift dash to far.

Doing this pause buffed saves about 29 seconds igt over no ultra routing. It’s about 26 seconds saved rta when you count time loss with pausing.

Either way all this crazy shit will never be pulled off in a full game along with SC and GC pause buffer. That pause buffed is already really difficult to begin with.

The time of the run is defined by the final frame that you can see the timer before it fades out.
