Asa is an artist who is widely active as a bassist and singer-songwriter.
He is popular for his nostalgic and touching melody and lyrics based on rock and J-pop.

He is also well known as a vocaloid producer, who creates music using VOCALOID and UTAU on social media.

His representative song "Yoshiwara Lament" released in 2012 is covered by various artists, made into a novel, and also Kabuki is produced based on the song story, showing the spread of derivative work.
In 2014, he made his major debut as a bassist of Wagakki Band.

The band receives high praise from overseas, and in Japan, the headliner live at Yokohama Arena was also successful in 2018.
