Kristin Kobes Du Mez is Professor of History at Calvin College. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, religion, and politics in recent American history; she has written for the Washington Post, Christianity Today, Christian Century, and Religion & Politics, among other publications, Du Mez is the author of A New Gospel for Women and the New York Times bestselling Jesus and John Wayne: How White Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith and Fractured a Nation.

She is joined in conversation by Brie Loskota, the Executive Director of the Martin Marty Center for the Public Understanding of Religion.
