Armstrong’s pyramidology, involving the belief that pyramids contained prophetic messages, led him to incorrectly predict Christ's return in 1936. British Israelism, the belief that British people are descendants of the lost tribes of Israel, further distinguished Armstrong's teachings from mainstream Christianity. Our discussion also explores the dangerous merging of Armstrong's ideas into Christian Identity, a racist and antisemitic ideology linked to violence and terrorism.
