Today's Old Classic Car video is a preview of the upcoming Brightwells classic car auction, June 2025 edition. There's a really varied mix of classic cars for sale in this upcoming auction, but be quick, the timed auction begins on Saturday 21st June and ends on the following Wednesday (25th).
As I always say, this video is only a broad preview of the auction lots - before bidding on anything I highly recommend that you contact the office to establish the legalities around the car(s) and the bidding process, and ideally attend one of the upcoming viewing days also. Don't take my enthusiasm for a given car as a justification for having a bid, I'm not recommending anyone to bid on anything featured.
It was neat to see so many pre-war cars for sale, including several examples of Austin 7, Nash Six, Vauxhall 20/60, Singer 9 Le Mans, Rolls-Royce 20hp and Austin Heavy 12/4. Highlights of the post-war classic cars included rare Sunbeam Alpine Mk1 from the 1950s, Austin-Healey 3000, Triumph Spitfire Mk3, various Jaguar E-Types, Jaguar XK120, Lotus 23, Triumph TR2 and TR3A, two electric milk floats (!), a 1950s Chrysler Windsor limousine alongside a similarly-aged Cadillac limo, a part-restored Packard 8, a Mk1 Mini minus its roof, Bentley S3, FIAT Topolino, Mercedes SLs various, Riley 9 Monaco, MGBs, Dutton, Land Rovers and many many more cars besides.
