some words about ustaad Lal kamal ji.

I always regard Ustaad Lal Kamal ji as my Godfather. He started his career by getting inspired by his father. His father used to practice music and rhymes. Lal Kamal got influence by his father, listening various music source he got his interest developed in playing flute. His Mentor/ Teacher Late Sh. Tulsi Ram ji gave him teaching of music, made him music literate.

Through a stick he made settings of a flute according to Kamal ji. In 1990 he worked as a musician with Surinder Bacchan ji and Varinder Bacchan. Later on he made his first music album by name of Durga Rangila Panth Khalsa as a music director. Lal Kamal ji is a down to earth person who always worship God for his grace and thinks positive.

Till now the singer who have worked with him or been under his guidance have reached lime light now like Miss Pooja, Master Saleem, Roshan Prince and many more. He feels an immense pleasure to see them touching the sky. These days he is not only working as a music director but is even focusing on Lal Kamal Music academy too. Whenever he recalls his struggle period he becomes emotional and thinks of his family, and salutes his parents for always being his biggest support.

He takes charanjeet Ahuja as his Ideal.

When I asked him about his best song as a music director he smiles an told me About an incidence that he did an album for Gurlez Akhtar and a call came from Mumbai by Sardool Sikander. That time there was no boundaries to his happiness and he started dancing with joy. His favourite instrument is fluet. When I requested him to play something for me, like a passionate kid he started playing his fluet.
