Director Statement:

"During our younger days, we often feel invincible as we chase our dreams. It is easy to ignore the impermanence of life, the possibility of illness, and the inevitability of aging and death.

We mistakenly assume our parents will be with us forever, not realizing that the time we have with them is slowly trickling away. It is important to remember that time passes like a flowing river. We will never touch the same water twice. What has passed will never return.

There is an old Chinese proverb recorded in The School Sayings of Confucius:
"The tree may long for peace, but the wind will not cease;
The son may wish to support his parents, but they will not be around forever."
It laments a child’s lost hope of fulfilling their filial piety after the death of their parents.
I acknowledge that not everyone comes from a happy family, but if you do, please appreciate them. Be grateful for and repay the love your parents have shown you. Life is finite, and every single second we have is precious.

Make it count while you can."
