في دربنا نمضي، والقلب فيه امان

يوم يجيء نورا، ويوم يمضي دخان
A day comes as light, and a day passes as smoke.
نحتار في خطوة، ونرجو فرجا يعان
We hesitate in a step, and we hope for a relief that helps us.
ونرفع الدعاء، فيهدئ الله البيان
And we raise our prayer, so Allah calms our state.
