Shai Maestro solo - Live for LAC

On May 20th, 2023, as part of a residency for the Laboratory of Contemplative Arts (LAC), the great jazz pianist, Shai Maestro, gave a concert at the Milano Jazz Club, in Barcelona.

Shai Maestro is one of the most talented pianists of his generation. He started as Avishai Cohen's pianist and today he is one of the key figures in the scene of improvised music, as well as one of the youngest representatives of the ECM label, an indisputable sign that Shai Maestro already represents a key figure of international Contemporary Music.

The LAC (Laboratori d'Arts Contemplatives) is a residence center for creation and thought in Tavertet, Barcelona, which also programs cultural events throughout the territory. For more information about the project:

El 20 de maig de 2023, en el marc d'una residència per al Laboratori d'Arts Contemplatives (LAC), el gran pianista de jazz, Shai Maestro, va oferir un concert al Milano Jazz Club, a Barcelona.

En Shai Maestro és un dels pianistes amb més talent de la seva generació. Va començar com a pianista d'Avishai Cohen i avui en dia és una de les figures cabdals del panorama de les musiques improvisades, com també un dels representants més joves de la discogràfica d'ECM, garantia indiscutible que Shai Maestro representa ja una figura crucial en el món de la música contemporània internacional.
