Hi everyone, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. If you're looking to secure your trailer's lunette ring when you're parked and you wanna make sure that it's all locked up so no one can just show up and grab it. Well, we're taking a look today at our Trimax Lunette ring lock. Now this is something you just fit over the ring and lock into place. I really like this one because it has keys and a lock included. All you really need to do is set it up and now your trailer is secure.

The bright yellow color is great because it instantly shows that your trailer is locked and by locked we have a barrel style lock up top, and you can see the keys here. This makes it a lot more difficult to simply drill through the lock core. This is gonna be a two piece set, so turning the key this drops the bottom part. Now that's actually the trickiest part of this whole thing. If you're not careful, this will just drop onto your toes, so just be mindful of that.

You can see the barrel shape and how that will fit together with our top piece. Notice the diameter of the lock itself though. You wanna make sure that this can fit into your different lunette rings, so the diameter of that lock is two and a half inches. Our lunette ring is actually three inches in internal diameter, and because the outer part of the lock is wider than that, this will fit your different lunette rings of different sizes. Now, of all the different locks available for this trailer, the Trimax lock is actually one of my favorites.

It is just a straightforward design and it looks good. It's seamless, but most importantly, it comes with its own lock. Some other options require that you purchase a padlock separately, which could be great if you have your own lock that you have the keys for and everything's key to like. But if you want something that works straight out of the box, this is the way to go. Now this is just gonna be a lock for the blue net ring of your trailer.
