Dr. Ryan P. Lowery, Ph.D., a national champion baseball player, earned his MS in exercise physiology and exercise and nutrition science from the University of Tampa and his Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University. Ryan currently serves as the President of the Applied Science and Performance Institute, a 21,000 sq ft facility bridging the gap between the latest research/science and practical application. Ryan's research has covered the cellular, molecular and whole body changes in muscle size, strength, and power in response to novel nutrition, training, and supplement interventions. On these topics, he has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and abstracts. Ryan has received the Exercise Science Scholar of the Year Award, NSCA Award for Outstanding Presentation of the year award, and the National AAHPERD Exercise Science Major of the Year Award. Ryan is emerging as a premier nutrition and supplement formulator in the industry and in doing so brings a unique skill set in product formulation from sourcing of ingredients, assuring product compliance, marketing sell sheets, and in bridging the gap between the science of supplementation and consumer industry.
