So what should you know about opening different windows? Well, you should know that in Windows 10, there are new changes that are used to open the following windows that used to work on Windows 7.
To open JAWS, you open it by pressing ALT+TAB, or INSERT+J.
To open the desktop, you don't have any choices with ALT+TAB. You press the windows key and the letter D at the same time. (Now used on Windows 10). To close, press TAB.
To open the file explorer, press the windows key and the letter E at the same time. To close, press ALT+F4.
So let's talk about closing different windows.
To close an active window, you press ALT+F4, with the exception of JAWS.
So what happens when you close JAWS? It opens a dialog box that gives you the options to quit JAWS or to cancel and JAWS stays open.
So let's say that you quit JAWS and you want to start it again, you press the windows key and the letter J separately and then press ENTER. JAWS will start in a few seconds.
