SLIDING DOOR WONT OPEN - HOW I FIXED IT - MK6 MK7 TRANSIT CAMPER VAN

THE SLIDING DOOR ON OUR MK7 TRANSIT CAMPER VAN WAS STUCK SHUT, THE SLIDING DOOR HAS BEEN STUCK SHUT FOR A YEAR NEARLY MAINLY BECAUSE I WAS SO BUSY IT WAS JUST A JOB I NEVER GOT ROUND TO. WE MANNAGED TO GET THE SLIDING DOOR OPEN ON THE TRANSIT VAN BUY DRILLING OUT THE STICKING LOCK MECHANISM AND POPPING THE DOOR LATCH WITH A SCREWDRIVER.

We have been on our travels in our Transit camper van nearly a year now all the while we have been popping the door open using a screwdriver and our little drilling hack. It’s been a pain if I’m honest but, I have been super busy working in everyone else’s camper vans that I haven’t had much time for maintenance on our transit camper. We have just spent a week on our camper van sorting out lots of little jobs and fixing the door was one of them.
