West Orange, the town Where Invention Lives, is a township of almost 46,000 people that has a total area of 12.2 square miles.The town unfolds across the first and second Watchung Mountains with well over 1,000 acres of open land including most of South Mountain Reservation as well as Eagle Rock Reservation. West Orange is bordered by Essex Fells, Livingston, Montclair, Millburn, Orange and Verona, NJ and is about 14 miles from New York City.
