Why I Shoot the Sunny 16 Rule with my photography | & Why You Should Too

Описание к видео Why I Shoot the Sunny 16 Rule with my photography | & Why You Should Too

I've been taking a lot of photos using the Sunny 16 Rule, and completely ignoring my light meter. It is so liberating.

Here are some of the shots I've taken, and more thoughts: https://www.adaminsights.com/why-you-...

I don’t want to waste my time with it when I’m out taking photos. I’m shooting manual, and whenever I can and am just out to take photos to enjoy taking photos, and I’m not paying any attention to the light meter in the camera.

The Sunny 16 Rule is really simple, it means that if you have a bright sunny day set your aperture to F16. Then set your shutter speed to match the iso speed of your film. EG, if you have 100ISO film in the camera or have your digital camera set to 100ISO, keep your shutter speed at 1/100th of a second, then don’t allow yourself to be distracted by the light meter. Then snap away.
