Our favorite fruit tree! Did you know fuyu persimmons could grow in Washington? When are fuyu persimmons ripe? How do you care for persimmon trees? Well, here in Western Washington, the fuyu persimmon does great and doesn't need much care. They get ripe around Thanksgiving, although you'll need to pick them and bring them inside for a few days to soften and sweeten up. We love this tree!
