Otani Ko - Yuuki he [ Tokyo magnitude 8.0 ]

This soundtrack is marvelous.
I can agree its not so likable in the start and takes hell of a time to build up to the main theme but that theme is perhaps one of the best i have ever heard. That theme is so good, it actually made me want to keep this soundtrack in my EP series. After giving it a lot of thought whether it should be in EP or not, i decided to go with not in EP because it takes a lot of time to build up and EP is only for the best soundtracks overall.

I would recommend watching this soundtrack from start till the end, not because of effects but because of the soundtrack itself being so good. It really pays off to wait for the main theme to kick in.


For those who are in hurry, the main piano part starts at 1:43. That is the time where this whole soundtrack starts kickin off and 2:40 part is just the epic.

If the soundtrack was from 1:43 to the end, it would definitely be in my EP series. Thats how good the part is.

As for the anime, the anime is actually predictable a bit. Though it still hits you in the feels in the end even after having a general idea of whats going to happen. Am saying predictable because i was able to guess what was going to happen and i was mostly right so there could be other people who guessed that too, so saying in the general sense.


-Effects used-
I like this soundtrack a lot so i kinda worked on it a bit more. Added particle bursts ( Though i screwed up the second burst which was supposed to be a followup after the first burst so i had to remove it. Sorry for that ) and also worked on the background with frame interpolation and all. You might not notice the background changing. In that case, skip the video like 10 - 15 seconds and then notice the background :D.
