I have been negotiating roof replacement with my customers a lot lately...on both sides of the spectrum...and I have talked to a lot of experts in the process, while trying to determine not only when a roof absolutely has to be replaced, but who should cover the cost. Negotiating roof after inspection is tough and to be honest...no one wants to pay…

There is no wrong or right way on how to negotiate a new roof when buying a home. You should definitely make sure all needed repairs are completed and take care of your roof over the years because they can last for decades.
