Sky's Sophy Ridge has pressed Health Minister Stephen Kinnock on how the government plans to address a £37 billion shortfall in capital investment in the NHS.

Speaking on the Politics Hub, Mr Kinnock said fixing the shortfall, highlighted in Lord Darzi's review of the healthcare system, will "absolutely be part of the 10-year plan" - but reform is also "vital".

The minister described the state of the NHS as a "crisis" and said investment must go "hand-in-hand" with fundamental changes, adding: "You should never turn the taps on until you've fixed the plumbing."
