Hi, I'm Tommy. I love walking around the most peaceful beach city in California - the city of Newport Beach - where I live. Let's walk with me around Tanaka farm in Irvine city which takes 5 minutes to drive there. 😊 Enjoy my walking tour, my friends!

😄 Fun facts:
1. The neighbors who live close to Tanaka farm can not walk in but have to drive in the park the car (pay $10) and of course no pedestrians can walk in.
2. up while visiting Tanaka Farms and you might see a plump squash sailing through the air. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. It’s the Pumpkin Cannon, and it’s become a must-see fall event.
The 6-foot cannon fires pumpkins into a nearby hill, where they splatter to cheers from onlooking kids and adults.
The boom can be heard from across the farm, but it doesn’t take much to launch pumpkins.
The cannon uses about 80 pounds per square inch of compressed air – about the same as the water pressure at your home – to shoot pumpkins 200 feet, but that’s not the limit of its range.
“The record is 300 feet, but we haven’t gone full max yet,” says Kenny Tanaka, a fourth-generation farmer. “It can go much farther.”

It was 9:00 Am when the entrance opened, there was already a long line of visitors. The kids ran around happily. The most impressive thing we saw was the kids love hugging the pumpkins so much. Here and there some couples posed and took selfie. The most exciting part of the tour was the pumpkin TNT canon fire. So have a fun time watching Tanaka Farm walking tour.
