“Sleepers” is a 1996 American legal crime drama about four boys from Hell’s Kitchen whose lives are shattered after a prank lands them in a brutal reform school, and who, as adults, secretly manipulate a murder trial to take revenge on the guards who abused them. The story follows themes of friendship, guilt, and vigilante justice as a journalist and an Assistant District Attorney use the legal system itself as a weapon to settle old scores.
