Lost Port features a storyline that the player gets thrown into right out the gate. It’s not exactly easy to miss, either. Every boss drops lore items to let you know what part they serve in the grand scheme of the plot. Find the four heroes, assemble their power, and seal away the Eldritch Hero for good. Or don’t, as one of the future updates allows for three possible endings: Bad, Neutral, and True.

As for the bosses, some have really cool mechanics. Ayane has Stagger, where both Ayane and the player freeze each other in place with enough hits. The Forgotten Vessel has Soul Link, where the boss consists of two parts, and if the damage difference between the two is over 2,000, the player instantly dies. Clockwork IV determines its attack patterns by the hour displayed on the face. For the final boss…just watch the video. The player gets a little help before the fight starts.
