This woman uses her creativity to make animal shaped bread from her kitchen at home. Samantha Van de Sompel, a 29-year-old student origninally from Colorado, US who now lives in Belgium, films her process of baking animals out of bread. Her most popular video shows the process of making the bread into a tiger, which she filmed for the lunar new year. Since this year is the year of the tiger, Samantha wanted to make something fun to celebrate. She worked on a bread recipe to get one that shaped well and was just pliable enough, but still tasted delicious. She then uses basic dough to shape the body and spent time on the face to get the most accurate shape. Samantha uses natural and edible ingredients for smaller details, such as raisins or nuts for the eyes and different spices for the colours.
