So, you want to expedite your passport renewal?

Here's what you will need:
Application Form DS-82;
Most recent passport;
A passport photo;
Proof of travel;
And payment for the fees;

Ready to get started?
Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete Application Form DS-82:
Complete the form online or print first and complete offline;

Step 2: Gather Supporting Documents:
Be sure your passport is not significantly damaged and was issued no more than 15 years ago;
You will need proof of travel such as a copy of your itinerary or e-ticket;
Submit a passport photo taken within the last 6 months;
Legally document any name change;

Step 3: Package and Send:
Make check or money order payable to the "Department of State";
Include expedited service fee in payment;
Print complete name and date of birth on front of the check or money order;
Place application, documents and payment in a large, protective envelope;
Mail to the address on the application form and write "expedite" on the package;
