A Scenic Walk from Pharung Village to Seikhor Village

Ever wondered what the north east of India is like? Well, in this episode we are going to walk from Pharung Village to Seikhor Village. These villages fall under the LPS (an abbreviation of the names of the villages - Lanlang, Pharung and Seikhor) - home to the Tangkhul Naga tribes. On our way, we explore the natural beauty of Manipur - particularly the Naga Hills. We get a primer on how they depend on the forest for their survival - right from getting firewood, medicinal herbs, food, and plants for domestic purposes. Not to mention plants that can be poisonous. We get a glimpse of the Shimhon historic site, and we also get to explore the Khapai spring pond - home of the rare and endangered salamander.
