Live UK TV with Filmon via Airplay

If you live outside of the UK, and do not have access to British Satellite feeds, FilmOn via an iDevice and Airplay is one of the best, free ways to watch live British television such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4, etc actually on your television.

There are plenty of other internet streaming feeds and services, but most are more concerned with bringing video streams to portable devices, laptops or actual PC's, and not to the television itself.

If you are within Europe, using the method as described in this video, you should be able to watch on your television live UK feeds in reasonable quality. If you live outside of Europe, you can also do this, but you will require a monthly subscription from FilmOn.

Either way, you do not need a VPN connection, and the video quality is better on my 40" television than on my smaller computer monitor, though most likely due to upscaling technology from my television.
