Finding The Biggest KING BOLETES In The Cascade Mountains of WA

Hello and Welcome to my Channel. On today's adventure join us as we forage for King Bolete Mushrooms in the Cascade Mountains of WA. Mushrooms came early this year and the King Boletes started showing signs of life at the higher elevations.
After a great trip to the Mt Baker area in the North Cascades, we decided to apply the same information we had learned from foraging Mt Baker and use it and find a similar location South of there, also in the Cascades.
We checked access and trails that lead to higher elevations with the type of preferred habitat required for finding King Boletes.
As it turned out, our choice of the area paid off tremendously, not only by finding some new places but also huge hauls of King Boletes and some really beautiful Oregon Reishi. All and all it was a great outing had by all.
