Guiding Line Hybrid Rescuer Based Control - Tower Rescue Training

Описание к видео Guiding Line Hybrid Rescuer Based Control - Tower Rescue Training

A guiding line is an offset used to keep the package just off the structure to minimize the possibility of a swing fall. A guiding line can be operated by hand which would allow movement from in and out and side to side, or it can be operated by placing it into a descent device for maximum control in and out. This system is a "hybrid" system because it utilizes a Petzl ASAP on the guiding line to use the guiding line not only as an offset but also as a belay. There are 3 types of guiding line (hybrids) that we like to utilize, a rescuer control based, a tower control based, and a ground control based. This video will review the setup and operation of a rescuer based control setup.
