On the basis of guidelines provided in the circular on key initiative under Aspirational Block Programme, dated 25.08.2023 of Mission Director, Aspirational District and Block Programme, NITI Aayog, Gov of India, applications are invited from deserving candidate for approintment of fellow, on completely temporary basis, under Aspirational Block Programme in 01 block (Surajgarha) of District Lakhisarai.

As per NITI Aayog circular, "The Proposal of deploying fellows in Aspirational Block is approved for one year starting from October 2023

Role of Aspiration Blocks Fellows:

The fellow deployed in Block Office, under Aspirational Block Programme will assist the district and the Block administration in implementation of the programme. The fellows will also help in the planning, implementation and monitoring of activities under ABP and also in improving the quality of engagement of all stake holders. Their primary responsibilities will include.

1) Collaborating with Block level officials to design and execute development

strategies aligned with ABP thematic areas. 2) Conducting regular field visits to assess project implementation, address challenges and collect ground-level insights.

3) Analyzing data and providing evidence-based recommendations to BLOs, District level Officials to optimize developmental initiatives.

4) Organizing workshops, awareness campaigns and skill-building programs to empower the local community. 5) Keeping States and NITI Aayog abreast with the issues, challenges and need for

support.

Education Qualification

1) Post Graduate in any discipline from a reputed institution. 2) Should Possess data analysis and presentation skills.

3) Should be conversant with use of social media. 4) Should Possess project Management skills.

5) Experience of working/intermship with a Development organization. 6) Self-driven with good communications skills. 7) Knowing

the local language of the respective Aspirational Block as a requirement for Aspirational Blocks Fellow.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their

higher education in the development/rural stream.

The tenure of Aspirational Blocks Fellows will initially span one year, during

which they will actively engage with Block level Officials to drive developmental

initiatives and empower local communities. Recognizing the potential for sustained

impact, the program allows for a one-year extension of the the fellowship, contingent

upon the fellow's satisfactory and demonstrated contributions to the program's

objectives, as determined by the State Governments.

Compensation:

The compensation package for aspirational Blocks Fellows has been thoughtfully

designed to attract bright and passionate individuals committed to
passionate individuals committed to driving transformative changes at the grassroot level, Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 55,000 as a token of appreciation for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the Aspirational Blocks Program for the period as decided by the department. This compensation is aimed at providing a reasonable financial support system, acknowledging the significance of their role in accelerating development across the identified blocks. This compensation package also includes provisions for travel allowances to a maximum of Rupees five thousand per month and other necessary support to ensure that the fellows can effectively immerse themselves in their assigned Block and focus on fostering change and progress in Blocks. By offering a competitive compensation package, the program seeks to attract top talent and empower Aspirational Blocks Fellows to make a meaningful impact in the Blocks they would serve.
