W123 Performance/Maintenance: ALDA Removal and testing (OM617 Version of AFC Housing)

The ALDA on am OM617 engine serves to regulate fueling off-boost, so until the turbo spools up it limits the maximum fuel, it has been said it was used to make acceleration smoother by removing the surge of power when the turbo spooled up.

And, if it fails, it severely limits your top end power. Lets pull mine off and see how its working.
