The dB’s were once described as “the missing link between the proto-pop of Big Star and college rock of R.E.M.” The band was critically praised, but ‘commercially off the radar” in the early 1980s in the U.S. They charted in places like the U.K. and Australia.
This year, their first two albums are receiving a re-release treatment after more than four decades. I talk about these first two albums with Singer/Songwriter Peter Holsapple as well as the band's tour in support of these projects + more!
