India bagged its maiden Silver Medal in Web Technologies Skills at WorldSkills Competition Kazan, Russia 2019.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽
A learner-centric, data analytics backed, in-person mentorship boot camp to prepare Indian contingent for WSC 2019 was conceived by a team of experts under the guidance of Ruchi Pareek, National Expert (Web Technologies) at World Skills 2019. Pedagogy included a fine balance of Life Skills, Design Thinking, Innovation, and Technical competency building in a conducive and competitive Industry environment.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽
In order to measure the learning of candidates, a data analytics engine Qrencia designed especially for World Skills competition by team Smalt and Beryl, was integrated into the training. Using Artificial Intelligence and various machine learning models, the engine is able to churn candidate performance data into useful information, specific to each participant.

These insights and statistical parameters not only provided a comparative view of a candidate vis à vis others but also helped the mentors to strategize Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) for candidates based on the strengths and weaknesses as discovered by the engine.
