Being Midlands boaters, Dave and I decided to head up to the Peak District after it had rained a lot to see if the River Ashop was going. Despite a lot of rain, it was on the low side, but really good fun. We did not run the tunnel or the upper section after the tunnel as the pool did not look that deep! Does not really let up and we imagine a great ride with 6 inches - 1 foot more water. Eddies would be few and far between though! We also had to portage 4 fences and 4 trees! Enjoy!
