"Why 13 x 18 ?

That's a good question. Actually a really good question. And it's a thoughtful question.

And it's an important question because you don't want to give your child a pillow that's too big. Yeah, it kinda looks weird on their bed, this size pillow on a twin size bed, makes it look small.

But the truth is, you really don't need, a child and us parents too, a child doesn't need any more than what the size of their head is. The bigger a pillow is, the more room they have to roll around.

And so what we've noticed, and we've had a lot of parents tell us, is having a smaller pillow, giving your child a smaller pillow actually helps them sleep better because it reduces the amount that they end up rolling around in their sleep.

A child, once they find out and figure out how to use a pillow, they go where it's comfortable. They don't sleep in a place that's uncomfortable.

Maybe we think that it is but they find a pillow, where it's comfortable and they stay there, I don't know, that's actually not true, because our daughter still falls asleep on the floor sometimes, but we do have lots of parents anecdotal evidence who say that their kids roll around less with a smaller pillow.

So if you're worried about the size, because your child rolls around a lot in their sleep, Give it a chance. Let it be. Let them get used to it for a little bit and see if it doesn't actually help them sleep a little bit better, roll around a little bit less and wake themselves up a little less in the middle of the night.

See if they don't wake up a little rested. More rested.
