Easier Color Mixing: The BIG 3

Описание к видео Easier Color Mixing: The BIG 3

Mixing color is hard...
THIS will make it EASIER!
We'll break color down to its basics and use what we know to mix and match our target color using only 3 primary colors and white.
We'll cover two different sets of "primary colors"(R,Y,B and C,Y,M), how they differ and if it really matters which one you use.

IF YOU ARE FRUSTRATED... You aren't alone! There's a lot to learn about color and it takes lots of time with the brush to train your eye to see color and experience to know how to adjust it. You'll see me get things wrong in this video- but I use the Big 3 to keep my thoughts organized and to eventually circle in on the correct color.

The specific paints I use in this video are:

Ultramarine Blue
Naphthol Red
Cadmium Yellow Pale
Cobalt Turquoise
Quinacridone Magenta
Titanium White

*Yes I could have made life a lot easier and grabbed a yellow ochre and burnt umber--- but what's the fun in that?
