FINISHING THE DIRTY WORK | LS Engine Mounts + Sh!thorse Oil Pan Plan (5.3 LS Swap Project)

This time on SPPTV Rob wraps up the engine and metal fabrication work on his 1987 S-10 Turbo 5.3 LS Swap Project. Follow along as he finishes up the last of the custom work before everything is pulled apart to be sandblasted/bodyworked/painted.

First a cheap replacement fender panel is cut apart and re welded to achieve a straight body line. Looks like Rob could have used a hand in the garage doing that! But he gets it done.

After pulling the front end apart Rob begins working on the motor mounts. After test fitting the stock pieces like we used on the Sh!thorse and Sonicstang, he decides to start from scratch with some fresh thick gauge steel. The design is simple but effective, and something you subscribers can do at home relatively easily!
