Making the template for my boat floor. After searching the internet observing a number of different methods I decided to come up with my own method that requires little material and minimal tools. Messing with plastic or cutting and taping sectional cardboard can be incredibly tedious and frustrating. I wanted a system that was fairly quick, trustworthy and left little room for error when done properly. Hopefully this helps you on your DIY boat project. IMPORTANT NOTE:

All flooring used was 3/4” marine grade plywood and layered with “West Systems” epoxy on either side before vinyl application.
