If you're a fan of orchestral music, you'll know that the great composers have employed the bassoon for some iconic moments in classical music. 

For today's Daily Joy, the bassoon is front and center with 17-year-old Xavion Patterson performing an expressive work for bassoon and piano written by Gabriel Grovlez.

He's joined by pianist Elizabeth Joy Roe of Anderson & Roe Piano Duo.
