9 blocks make up this 41" by 53" lap throw. Each block uses front and back stitches (or knits and purls) so they are easy to do! You'll need 6 skeins of Caron One Pound yarn to make all nine blocks, using 6 strands held together. You'll have roughly 1/4 of each skein left, about 4.75 ounces of each skein, if you want to make tassles at the corners or fringe all around. Any of these nine patterns could also make a full size throw if you prefer, though not all of the patterns are reversible or have a "good" wrong side. Each square will take about 1 hr and 15 minutes to knit. See lesson 61 to see how to knit the first block. Over the next few weeks, I'll show the rest of the squares.
