If you want to get the most out of your mobility scooter, there are a few things that you can do. This video will show you how to do a few things that will increase the lifespan of your mobility scooter.

The next thing we recommend doing is not abusing your batteries by letting them drain to low. We have a video that shows you how to get the most out of your batteries which we've linked below:

Another tip is to use some sort of anti-rust spray (aka water deterrent) for any exposed metal parts. This will help prevent rust and oxidation. WD40 or T9 spray work great!

The next tip we recommend is using dielectric grease which is a conductive grease used to preserve electrical connections. It also prevents rust and corrosion but it won't prevent connections from passing voltage through. It's a great product to use on battery terminals, power connectors and wire harness clips.

The last tip we have is to clean out your bearings once in a while to ensure they are not squeaking or getting dirty.

If you happen to have a scooter that comes apart, like a Go Go Scooter, make sure you don't break your power connectors. There are adjustment screws that you can use to adjust the power connection block. The pins on the power blocks are delicate and prone to breaking. So when you notice the connection is not working smoothly, you can adjust those screws to make it connect easier. Try no to use force, because those pins can break.
