EXPERT TALK SERIES (Intro)
The Expert Talk Series is a special initiative of the Jammu and Kashmir Policy Institute (JKPI) where we seek to source inputs and recommendations from experts in various fields pertaining to different sustainable development goals through one-on-one dialogues. As an organization, JKPI believes in multi-stakeholder dialogues as one of the most important components in building a shared vision for development in Jammu and Kashmir and true to our faith in the same, we have initiated this series to engage experts, change-makers, pioneers from various walks of life to understand the dynamic context of implementing the sustainable development goals on our agenda.

Every week, we seek to host experts who would share with us the different dimensions of the challenges and possibilities while drawing from their own rich repertoire of experiences in the field. We believe that personal stories of passionate pursuit of goals, research on addressed gaps, and efforts to be a part of the change is a very big aspect of development in action at an individual level. We are hopeful that these stories would inspire many people and would contribute to bringing visible change to society.

We successfully concluded our first phase of the Expert Talk Series on SDG 5: Gender Equality- Opportunity and Challenges. It featured 15 experts discussing 8 different topics related to SDG 5 ranging from technology, security, entrepreneurship to climate action and journalism
