The bilingual student believed to be the subject of a controversial English-only sign hung by a now-fired Pennsylvania bus driver is sharing his side of the story for the first time.

After Diane Crawford’s firing made national headlines and the Civil Rights branch of the U.S. Department of Justice said it would investigate the firing, the student reached out to CBS 21, saying he wanted to share his story not only to clear his name at school, but to clear Crawford’s.
