Sorry about the 30 FPS, that's just what my PS4 records to internally as I only have a base PS4! The game looks so much smoother in 60fps, the patterns animate so well... If I do an arcade 1CC I'll definitely get proper capture card output.

Off the bat: Lots of lucky dodging in this one hahaha... like tons... we take those!

This was like my 3rd "real" attempt...I feel like I somehow did meh on this run but I cleared handily - this mode is EXCELLENT mode for intermediate and experienced beginners to take on Ketsui with pretty much NO DIFFERENCE in patterns from the Arcade mode! That means the game doesn't hold back at all! I did miss a lot of dodges and

Extends are given automatically for defeating a boss and both secret stage extends still exist, so as a new player you dont have to focus on any scoring, just focus on your own dodging. It's like dodging practice but an entire game with perfect difficulty to encourage you to learn, but still have to play pretty well moment to moment.

Instead of Bombs you get a "Deathtroy" which gives you invincibility when activated, cancels bullets both on and off, and can be stacked for higher damage... however... this also acts as an auto bomb, and can be refilled quickly, when you are "in the red" cool down, or no meter, you will die if you get hit..... sooo you focus on your dodging, and when it goes off, you go " oh shoot I missed a dodge " but instead of punishing your run to hell, the game drains a meter and you get to keep playing.

Also love how they let you also enjoy the theatrical TLB.

Very cool mode that ALL ARCADE SHMUPS could benefit from. Extreme shame that only Ketsui has this kind of mode...
