I've been planning to do this game for quite a while, actually, since 2010. The issue though, is that this game is incredibly long when trying to 101% it. I've decided that it's finally time to do a 101% Playthrough of this game. Sorry if this game takes a while, but it really is quite lengthy. This Playthrough will show how to get pretty much everything in the game.

In this part, we watch a bunch of cutscenes, train a bit, and rescue Diddy Kong at Jungle Japes. We also get all of Donkey Kong's Golden Bananas in this area.

These are the items obtained in this part:

Simian Slam: This is learned by drinking a potion given to you by Cranky Kong after clearing every Training Barrel. This is pretty much the "Ground Pound" of this game, needed to push switches. Every Kong can use this move.

Golden Banana #1: You can't miss this one. After talking to K. Lumsy and cheering him up, he will cause a path to open, leading to Jungle Japes, along with revealing a Golden Banana. Simply go up to it and grab it. These will be needed to get pass B. Locker in some areas. Wait.. was I getting beaten up while a cutscene was going on?

Battle Crown #1: Near Funky's Armory, there is a platform that will take you to an arena. These are simple endurance tests. If you make it through them, you will win a Battle Crown. The first one is "Beaver Brawl!", in which your only opponents are a bunch of Gnawties. Just keep beating them up until time runs out for the Crown to appear.

Coconut Shooter: This is Donkey Kong's special weapon, which can be obtained by paying Funky Kong 3 Banana Coins. As the name implies, you're able to fire coconuts at opponents These can be used to pop yellow balloons, hit enemies you couldn't normally reach, and push specific switches.

Golden Banana #2: This one is located right in front of the cage Diddy is trapped in. Simply grab it.

Golden Banana #3: Use the Coconut Shooter to press every switch nearby that has a coconut printed on it. This will open up the gate, freeing Diddy Kong, along with him leaving a Golden Banana for you to obtain.

Blueprint #1: Defeat the yellow-haired Kasplat in Jungle Japes with Donkey Kong, then grab his Blueprint. Depending on the Kasplat's hair color, a different Kong will be able to get his Blueprint. These can be given to Snide for Golden Bananas.

Banana Medal #1: Every Kong has a Banana Medal they can obtain in the levels. They must collect 75 Bananas of their color to get the Medal. Simply collect 75 Yellow Bananas in Jungle Japes with Donkey Kong for his.

Baboon Blast: In Cranky's Lab located in Jungle Japes, pay Cranky 3 Banana Coins for this ability. Only Donkey Kong can use it. It will allow Donkey Kong to transport to a bonus stage, consisting of firing Donkey Kong through barrels, which can help you obtain prizes.

Golden Banana #4: Pay 3 Banana Coins to Cranky in his lab to receive another potion, granting Donkey Kong the Baboon Blast ability. Go back to the platform with Donkey Kong's face on it in the beginning of Jungle Japes, then press Z. You will be transported to a bonus stage. Simply fire Donkey Kong from barrel to barrel, then fire him into the Golden Banana. It is quite an easy stage.

Golden Banana #5: Near Cranky's Lab, open the gate with the Coconut Shooter, then jump into the Rambi Crate to turn into Rambi. Destroy every hut to reveal switches. Afterwards, change back to normal Donkey Kong, then pound on the switch with his face on it. A Golden Banana will come out of a cage between the first and second Bananaporter for you to obtain.

Golden Banana #6: This is the last Golden Banana for Donkey Kong in Jungle Japes. Go to Snide's HQ, and give Snide the Blueprint we got earlier for a Golden Banana.
