1 hr Freight Trains - CN & CPKC!

Some clips I filmed earlier this spring, some of them with the snow still on the ground! After the accidental destruction of my old camera, I didn't film for a while so there has been a large temporal gap between this video and the last one posted. Now I shoot using my Android phone but I miss the old camera!

At the end of the film there is a Via Rail train which is the tourism passenger service that we have here in Canada. If you're lucky (or you look at the online schedule) you can catch them rolling along the CN line! CP's recent merger with Kansas City Southern has changed its initials which... we won't get into that lol. I think it was better when it was CN and CP, like a duo serving Canada together. But oh well. Things do change, don't they.

There is also one Cando train which is a bit of a unicorn, since they don't move more than perhaps once a day if at all, so you have to be lucky to catch them. Cando does the switching in the loading yards of the potash mines, bringing the cars to and from the CN and CPKC's mainlines.
