Sisig originated from Pampanga. This place is considered as the culinary capital of the Philippines. It was invented by Lucia Cunanan. She is popularly known as Aling Lucing and the Sisig queen.

Tahong Sisig

Ingredients

3 cups Tahong
2 onion, minced
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp red chili
2 tnsp green chili
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp calamansi
salt to taste

Cooking procedures:

1. Pour the water and tahong in a pan and bring to a boil
2. Drain the water
3. remove the shell.
4. In a pan, add oil and fry until crispy.
5. Put-in container and add onion, calamansi and chili black pepper
6. add mayonaise and salt
7. Serve.
