Peacocks of the sun
loose smoldering down
The smoke adheres

Black Ravens of the earth
in rising spiral feed
upon the fallen dawn.

Snapping jaws of ruin
Keening winds of winter
Splintering bough plummets
Abscission, destruction, perdition.

Fallening to the aching year
the axle turns, it crushes bones.
Sun's silent slumber
Risen.
In ashes risen.
In smoke, risen.
